Courtney's Nephrotic Syndrome Treatment

Meet Courtney ...

Courtney is 3 years old. She loves princesses, loves to sing and dance, play with her older brother Cody and cousin Quira, she  is spunky and full of life. At the age of 1, she was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome, a condition where too much protein is released from the body. It means that one or 2 of her kidneys may be damaged. 

Courtney has spent most of her life in the hospital undergoing treatments and infusions for her condition, and although, some would say this a highly treatable condition, for Courtney, it has been a constant uphill battle as doctors are stumped  by how her tiny body is resisting treatment.

About a week ago, she was once again admitted into St Luke's, and it was determined that she now as Acute Kidney Failure. She is currently in the Pediatric ICU undergoing 24 hour dialysis for the next 2 weeks. As we all hope and pray that her body acclimates and responds well to dialysis, the outcome is still uncertain and Courtney may very well be a candidate for a kidney transplant.
As with most medical situations, hospital bills tend to pile up and it has come up to a large amount and Courtney's parents are now seeking help so that they can continue treatment for Courtney whether it be at St Luke's or at NKIT.  This will be a long battle for our little warrior princess and we are humbly asking for your help whether it be through a donation, by sharing her story, and most especially, lifting her up in prayer.
