Thank you to everyone in Courtney and Sylvan's circle of support! We're grateful that Courtney is feeling a little better than she was a few weeks ago. Now that Sylvan is back in school, here's what is most needed right now:
Help by Donating
Donations are still needed. Funds will help cover:
- Childcare, including overnight care when friends aren't available. Paid overnight childcare can cost around $150–$200.
- Paid transportation when Courtney isn't able to drive Sylvan and volunteer help isn't available.
- Grocery delivery and other practical services that help Courtney save energy and avoid activities that can make her symptoms worse.
Help in Person
If you're local, Courtney needs help with:
- After-school pickups: Regular help getting Sylvan home from her after-school program, especially between 4:30 and 6:00 PM.
- After-school playdates and dinner: Picking Sylvan up after school, having her over for a playdate or dinner, and bringing her home afterward.
- Weekend playdates and occasional overnights: Giving Courtney needed time to rest and recover.
