Hello wonderful people, my name is Diane: I’m appealing to you, please, please and with lots of humility, love and hope I’m asking you to help my cousin and her family, survive through a small food takeaways, cottage industry :
Through Family Tree and Ancestry.com I discovered a blood cousin who lives in the Northern Cape - a depressed and economically struggling area. This intrepid and long suffering woman has three grown sons, all in and out of work because of the economy - lately out of work; she gets a small disability pension as she has heart problems - literally not enough to feed a mouse. They’re all trying to scrape by. At the moment she’s making Cape Malay Koeksusters and other delicious tasty delights, to help feed them. The boys are trying to sell on line etc. But finances, or lack of, totally limit them.
This dear lady (cousin), used to have a takeaway which supplied them a living but the rent got too high.. they’re all living in a shared family home, at the moment so we’ve looked at a small wood hut attached to the house where she can operate from and store her food equipment and start a small, home based, takeaway place again … this is where we need your kindness and help please.. we need about £500 or more, to start - not a lot but we don’t have it… I know there are so many people struggling, but remember the story of the star fish on the beach.. helping this one person will help so many others.. thank you so much.
