The Huncote Action Group invites contributions towards securing advice about the transport issues associated with the planning application for land to the rear of Ratcliffe Drive, Peers Way and Preston Way. Our aim is to secure sufficient funds to pay for an independent review of reports submitted by the Developer's consultants which form part of their planning application. It is our view that the proposals set out therein are not representative of community views and perceptions about the likely impact of the development on our village, especially the increase in volume of traffic and the risk to health and safety, especially of children who live in the local area.

Based in Blaby District (South Leicestershire) the Huncote Action Group has been established to campaign against over development in the village.

The aims of the Huncote Action Group are to:

1. Ensure Huncote village remains safe for everyone who lives here, and for those who travel through it on a daily basis.

2. Ensure that any developments are proportionate to local need.
