Hi, My name is Rachel. I’m 16 years old, and I have the opportunity to go on a camp international Costa Rica trip in 2027!

The amount for the trip is £5000 which seems like a daunting amount to raise, but During this trip i will be helping the local communities, such as building classrooms, houses and much more. Therefore the money I earn won’t just be going to me it be going to the local community .

While in Costa Rica, we will be working in groups during the 4 weeks.

One of the key things that motivates me is knowing when I go to Costa Rica I will be making an impact on the community.

This trip is giving me the chance to step out my comfort zone, meet new people and learn new things. Most importantly, I will have to fundraise on my own to be successful , which requires initiative, creativity, teamwork, all the things that we help me get on with life, once I leave school.
