This is a challenge: to reach out and do something for someone else, in remembrance of our classmate and friend, Cory Selby.
Cory was an amazing person—full of life and with a heart of gold. He loved God and all those around him. He always made people smile and had a great sense of humor. Cory is someone that anyone blessed enough to know him will never forget.
The Cory Selby Challenge: Go out and make a difference, no matter how big or small you think it may be.
• Buy someone flowers to let them know you’re thinking of them
• Buy gas and take someone for a drive that doesn’t get out often
• Send someone a card to brighten their day
• Donate to a charity
• Buy lunch for a stranger in need
Do something to reach out to at least one person. You may think, “I’m only one person and it’s only a small amount of money,” but if each and every one of you could reach one person, think of the impact that could make. The dollar value of Cory’s Challenge is not its worth. It’s your love, time, and compassion. Whatever you choose to do with this money, do it with the joy of helping others in your heart and help us to remember our friend, Cory.
