Our family was hit with cancer on October 5th, 2018. My 12 year old daughter, Bella Grace, was diagnosed with a tumor in her spine that had spread to her brain. After an emergency shunt surgery due to the tumors growing , her treatments of radiation and chemotherapy began in a city 3 hours away. Her father and I (we are divorced) traveled every other week to care for Bella during her 6 week treatment plan. Her response to treatment has been amazing! The treatments going forward will last 6-7 months locally with monthly hospitalization. We pray that her recovery continues to get better everyday & that the tumor in her spine shrinks so that we can say goodbye to cancer!!
I am a single self employed single mother. I do not receive child support. I am asking for support to continue to provide for my family as I am self employed & have taken a financial hit over the past several months.
The love and support we have felt from our extended family, friends, and community has been overwhelming. I know that kindness is alive and well in our humanity. We would be forever grateful to reach this goal, as well as to be together & balanced as we continue on this emotionally, physically, mentally, and financially challenging journey.
