Dear Juanfe Foundation:

For my 50th birthday I decided to go big and run my first marathon.

My coach and fellow runners told me that it is going to hurt (a lot!), and that I will suffer, and most probably regret it along the way. But I have also been told that if you are hungry enough, and have a powerful reason, finishing a marathon is a life changing event.

Choosing Juanfe  as a cause was easy; it transforms lives every single day, fighting uphill battles that end with the promise of a better future for thousands of teenage mothers and their children.

With the hope of being able to contribute to giving these girls and their babies the opportunity of a dignified life in which success and dreams are possible, I embark on this adventure.
We can only achieve the best version of ourselves by serving others.
