Ian's Chiropractic Service Trip

Greetings Friends, Family and Colleagues,
Thank you for taking the time to check out my page and see what I'm up to. As you may or may not know, I am a third quarter student at Life Chiropractic College West out near San Francisco. I am happy to report that I've found my life's career calling. Chiropractic resonates
with me at every level of my being.
On June 27th, 2017 I will embark on a 4 day Chiropractic service trip to San Salvador, El Salvador. I'll spend four days adjusting the beautiful people of El Salvador with students and Doctors from around the country.
I'm traveling with eight chiropractic students from Life West. This is a committed, focused and highly intentional group of students who's desire is nothing less than to serve these people at the highest levels possible. Once we arrive in El Salvador, we'll drive to San Salvador and rendezvous with our trip coordinators, Drs. Shannon Darrow and Dr. Mandy Chan. Dr. Darrow runs the organization Spinal Missions. You can learn more about her organization here:
http://spinalmissions.org/

Why Chiropractic? Chiropractic is the science, art and philosophy of detecting and removing vertebral subluxations. Subluxations are minor dislocations of spinal bones (vertebra) that cause the nerves
exiting the spinal cord to become impinged. When this occurs the brain is not able to communicate messages from the brain to the body and vice versa. These messages can be for heart rate, digestion or
even breathing. The brain also allows us to interact with the world...how we feel, who we love and what motivates us. If there is an interference in the transmission of these messages someone will not
be able to function at their highest potential, which can impact physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being. Chiropractic adjustments restore the brain-body connection to facilitate healing and improved nervous system communication.
Why do I need your help? In order to make this trip a reality it is going to require money. My goal of $2,000 will cover all potential expenses...flights, food, ground transportation and lodging (4 days). Food and proper hydration is especially important given the conditions
and volume of people we will serve.

If you feel it is in your being to support this cause I am
ready to gratefully receive your gift. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your financial support more than you know. Your support inspires me to serve more people and to give of myself at levels I've never reached before. I am looking forward to the transformation :)
Love,
Ian Barwick
