CoronaMan 2.0

2020 was a rough year so a group of friends decided to use their hobby and abundance of spare time to try to help out. They wanted to challenge themselves physically to raise money for awesome causes. In doing so, the CoronaMan Triathlon was born. 


This multi-day event happens in Vermont in August 2020 and included a 4 mile swim across Lake Champlain, a 130 mile bike ride with 10,000+ feet of elevation gain, and concluded with a 20 mile trail run over Mount Mansfield. 


Through this, the CoronaMan Triathlon raised over $2,000 which was donated between three charities: Protect Our Winters, CDC Emergency Relief Fund, and Sierra Club Inspire Connections Outdoors. 


This year, the CoronaMan is happening again. On August 7th and 8th in Acadia National Park, athletes will set out to complete a 3 mile open water swim, a 100 mile bike ride with more than 6,000 feet of elevation gain and a 20 mile trail run over nearly every peak in the park. 


This year all funds raised with be donated to Plastic Oceans, a non-profit who’s mission is to end plastic pollution in the oceans through activism and education.
