Coronacovery

Throughout the past few weeks, tension within our local community has grown as the COVID-19 pandemic sweeps across the nation. As the call for citizens to shelter-in-place and practice social distancing proceeds, worried individuals and family members rush to overcrowded supermarkets and stores at an attempt to stock up on the essentials - leaving departments emptied or in limited supply. We believe that this has especially become an issue for those most vulnerable in these times, such as the senior citizens and disabled individuals of Milpitas. Not only has acquiring bare necessities become an increasingly difficult process, leaving home to scour these public areas also poses a great risk for those with compromised health. In these unfortunate, strange times, we must strive to uplift our community as a whole and preserve the unique relationships intertwined within it. Despite being safely isolated within your homes - you are not alone! 

 What items will be covered in these deliveries?

Toilet Paper
Paper Towels
Clorox Wipes
Hand sanitizer
Diapers
Baby wipes 
Books
hygienic products
Bottled water

How does this process work?

Once contacted, we will purchase your items for you (Target, Safeway, Walmart, etc.)! 
These will be packaged and sanitized prior to delivery, then placed at your doorstep (a precaution towards social distancing) 

Who are we?

This project was curated by a few junior students of Milpitas High School - currently studying from home and constantly thinking about how to make the world a nicer place!
