Corneal Transplant Needed: Shane's Story
Donation protected
Aloha everyone,
My older brother, Shane, has struggled with many health problems since we were little kids. In 7th grade, he was diagnosed with Keratoconus, which is a progressive eye disorder that has become worse over the years. He now will need a corneal transplant that unfortunately will cost close to $15k.
As his younger sister, it has been hard to see my brother lose motivation and self-confidence. To know that he is being held back from achieving his goals and the struggle that it brings breaks my heart. I can remember the day when he found out that he was having a son; he told me that he's scared that he won't be able to see his son's face. And now, it affects his everyday life from driving to being qualified to work certain jobs. I would do anything for my brother, so although this is out of my comfort zone to ask, I know he would do the same for me. If you have it on your heart to donate, thank you so much. And if you are not able to, prayers for healing and restoration are appreciated as well.
Thank you for your time and God bless!
