Corey and Amanda’s Helene Relief Supplies Run
Donation protected
Amanda and Corey here! We are buying supplies to drop off at United Way in Lexington, NC and wanted to extend the opportunity to our friends and family to contribute to the effort. A lot of people have voiced about wanting to be more hands-on in the effort to help our neighbors so here is your chance. We will be making a run on Saturday and Sunday regardless, so if you would like to donate to those supplies runs, please do so here.
When Corey and I moved to the mountains, we fell in love—not just with the breathtaking landscapes, but with the incredible sense of community we found here. Whether it's the tight-knit friendships we've made in Floyd, VA, or the deep connection we feel to life in these mountains, this place has become home.
But right now, these mountain communities need our help. Hurricane Helene recently tore through western North Carolina, bringing devastating winds, floods, and destruction. In its wake, thousands of families are displaced, with hundreds of homes damaged or destroyed. For the small towns that dot these hills, the impact has been staggering.
We know that many of you—our friends, family, and extended community—want to help. That's why we're stepping up to gather supplies and deliver them to a United Way drop-off location in Lexington, NC. From essential goods like food and water to items that will help people rebuild their homes and lives, we are doing what we can to give back to these mountain towns that have lost so much.
Together, we can bring hope and relief to those affected by this disaster. Any donation, big or small, makes a difference.
