Cordelia Taylor has, for decades, cared for the invisible elderly in zip code 53206. Her faithful service has caused some to refer to her as the "Mother Teresa" of Milwaukee. She founded "Family House" for the elderly. A simple google search for her life story is filled with accolades and accomplishments (https://tinyurl.com/y9dsdkj9).
In May Family house was closed down and the residents moved to other care facilities. Cordelia is retiring. Her plan was to sell Family House to another ministry so she would have money to use for her own retirement.
In October, vicious people went through Family House and vandalized the building over a number of days. It rendered the facility unsellable.
Now, Cordelia is in a position that rather than being the one caring for the elderly with little or no money, she is the one in need of care with little or no money for retirement - not because she didn't plan, but because evil forces came to destroy what was left.
We are raising money for Cordelia's retirement, as a thank you from Milwaukee for this great saint who has dedicated her life to improving our city.
