As a Family we are supporting our amazing, athletic, kind and fun-loving grandson/nephew as he fights his medical battle.
Cooper is a senior at Heritage High School in Saginaw and plays on the varsity hockey team (pretty darn good too). For a few months he was having recurring headaches, but like most of us did not think much of it.  Recently, they were getting worse , he was getting nauseous and unable to drive. After going to the doctor and having tests run, we learned the root cause of the headaches. It was something we never imagined in our wildest dreams would happen to Coop -- two tumors in his brain.  
Coops parents immediately took him down to U of M to get further testing and meet with the best team of doctors. They put their game plan together.  Cooper bravely underwent a 9 hour surgery to have them removed. It was a success!
Cooper will begin radiation and chemo at U of M which will require daily driving to ensure Coop receives the best care and most successful outcome.
The Wobio family needs our help. They have always been there for us in our time of need. They show love and kindness wherever they go and for whomever they meet! Now it is our time to return the kindness, compassion and support. There will be medical bills and much expense for driving daily out of town to get medical treatment.  We would love to lesson  one burden for them during this time. Please consider a donation no matter the amount. As a community we can be there FOR them even though we are not always there WITH them. There are many hockey families, friends and neighbors whom they have grown to love and we in return will share our love and support for them in their need today. Thank you all!
