I woke up to over 25 messages this morning about how people can help Sam. Many of you asking if this go fund me page was a current place to donate. Yes, it is.

Here is an update on our Sweet Sam Jam.

Sam is currently back in the hospital in Houston as of Monday evening.

He is intubated and on a vent. He was in severe respiratory distress and had to be flown to Texas Childrens so he could be with his medical team. He had a scheduled post op followup appontment, but his nuero status cannot be assessed at this stage. He has double pnumonia, corona and rhinovirus. His surgery cannot be ruled a success at this junture, so his surgical team will be contemplating next steps once they are able to properly assess his current neurological state. That will happen once he is extubated and weened from the heavy meds that are suppressing his normal functions.

Sal is out of vacation time and is getting some kickback from his absence. So that is a new hurdle. Please pray they do the right thing by Sal and his family and allow him to remain with Sam and Bianca in the hospital and that he doesn’t get released.

Bianca and sal have an oversized vehicle that isn’t allowed in the hospital parking garage, so it is in valet for $16 a day. Hospital food for two people at 3 meals a day adds up quickly and Isn’t covered. So that’s a huge expense on top of the household bills that have to keep their other kids safe and covered.

So many of you are asking how to help. This GFM page was started last year and has been dormant for about 9 months. Since there is still so much of a need for some financiall support, I am reawakening this page for total transparency.

Please pray for Sam. He needs prayer now more than ever. He is so exhausted.

Please pray that things remain reasonable and stable for Sal at work so he can focus on taking care of Bianca and Sam.

Please pray for continued strength for Bianca. This episode is hitting her pretty hard.
