Support Community Iftar at City Mosque, Preston This Ramadan

During the blessed month of Ramadan, City Mosque, Preston is honoured to host daily iftar for members of our diverse local community. Each evening, people from many different backgrounds come together under one roof to break their fast in an atmosphere of unity, compassion, and brotherhood.

Those attending our iftar include:

Local families and children

University and college students

International and foreign students from many parts of the world

Single working individuals living away from home and asylum seekers

For many, this iftar is not just a meal — it is a source of comfort, dignity, and belonging, especially for those who are far from family or facing hardship.

This Ramadan, In shā’ Allāh, we aim to raise £20,000 to help provide iftar throughout the month. These funds will allow the mosque to purchase food, fruit, dates, drinks, and essential supplies so that everyone who attends can break their fast with ease and respect.
