TrailMix Alliance:

Barriers to the outdoors exist in many forms for many people, and outdoor spaces need stewardship in varying forms. In response to growing needs in these areas, a group of socially conscious and committed leaders are starting a nonprofit whose mission looks like this:

A women/minority-led nonprofit making trails safe, welcoming, and fun for all. We teach outdoor skills, care for trails, and build inclusive communities that connect people with nature.

We are gathering “seed” money as we begin the process of launching this nonprofit. Costs of nonprofit startup include filing fees in order to obtain 501(c)(3) status.

We are made up of professionals and dedicated volunteers with extensive nonprofit and outdoor experience. Your time, energy, or financial contributions are welcome! Reach out for more information.
