Sherry Oliphant Young was a caregiver to all who came into her life. Whether it was family members, friends of the family, or anyone who needed help, she was always willing to help where she could.

Living with her daughter and grandson was an example of how much she wanted to be a part of their lives so her influence and life could enhance theirs.

Throughout her daughter's early life, Sherry welcomed all of Holley's friends into her home and treated them as her own. She made her home a safe place for all to enter. All of the children would call her "Momma" because that was what she was to each and every one of them.

On April 3rd, 2025, Sherry passed away peacefully, leaving her daughter (Holley) and grandson heartbroken and uncertain of their future.

We are setting this GoFundMe account up to help Sherry's family relocate closer to a support system, familiar faces, and a level of comfort that will be a stable environment to grieve, as well as find a new path forward.

Sherry's greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. Please help continue her legacy by donating what you can. Any and all donations will continue Sherry's caring spirit for her family.
