Hi My name is Conroy and I am fundraising for the last part of my World Challenge Adventure which starts on 21st July 2025. I have been working with my school and friends to raise funds for this trip, and have also worked part-time in a local restaurant in between exams! I have £2,500 left to raise to reach my target and am asking for help. Any support you can provide would be greatly received, every pound counts - Thank you.

My trip will be over 20 nights and aims to teach me to see the world differently, to challenge myself and to help support others. My challenge is focused on working with the NCP (Neighbour Care Point - It Takes A Village To Raise A Child) and completing Marine Conservation Projects.

The NCP project helps support orphaned kids in Eswatini to grow, have a safe space and develop. They offer food, accommodation, education and safe spaces for kids. They work on the founding principle it takes a village to raise a child. We will be supporting with learning about cattle herding and lutindzi grass weaving whilst embedding ourselves in their culture including bucket showers and pit latrines, real back to basics. We hope to support the local development with painting and decorating their buildings and making friends. Our second project is marine conversation where we will be counting whale sharks, humpback whales and other marine life to support migration data, identify breeding patterns and also undertake a beach clean, to understanding the impact human have on marine welfare.

I am very excited about this trip and looking forward to the adventure, without parents and without my mobile phone. I'm even embracing old technology so I can take some photos.
