About Conrad’s Journey

For over a year, Conrad has been living with relentless pain from a condition called Osteitis Pubis—a rare and very complex pelvic injury that has affected every part of his life. What started as dismissible discomfort quickly turned into chronic, scrutinising pain which left him unable to work for nearly four months. Even now, he can only manage about a third of his normal workload.

During this time, Conrad has seen more than 15 different GPs, a few specialists, numerous therapists and many different costly scans. While there were moments of hope, most treatments brought little relief. It has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs, with each setback affecting not only his physical health but also his mental well-being.

The toll has been immense—not just financially, but emotionally too. His family has shared in his struggle, watching someone they love go through such a difficult season. Friends, colleagues, and clients who know Conrad have seen how much he has been through, and many have asked how they can help.

Now, for the first time in a long while, there is real hope. Conrad found a specialist OP therapist in Melbourne who truly understands this rare injury. He has begun a new intensive online rehab program which offers a path to recovery. While the program gives us hope, the costs (and number of sessions) are very high, especially after such a long period of reduced income.

This is why we are reaching out—because no one should have to face this battle alone. By standing with Conrad, you are not only helping him cover the cost of treatment but also giving him the chance to return to the vibrant, healthy, and pain-free life he deserves.
