Conquering the Three Peaks to help students study CompSci
Donation protected
We're a group of friends from across the UK committed to ensuring that talented students can pursue their dreams in Computer Science at Durham University, regardless of their financial circumstances.
After a successful 10k run in Monaco (February 2024) and our challenging 92km walk along the Lancaster Canal (June 2024), we're taking on our most ambitious challenge yet: The Three Peaks!
Across three days in April we'll be climbing the three highest mountains in the UK - Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon - to raise funds for the Durham Inspired Coleman Scholarship.
The scholarship was launched in early 2021 and has already made a big difference. We're excited to announce that as of the 2024/25 academic year, we've been able to support two scholars concurrently. We welcomed our second scholar last September, which is a milestone we couldn't have achieved without the incredible generosity of our supporters.
We're immensely grateful to all those who donated to our past challenges, helping us raise over £2,765 in the Monaco 10k and £2,160 in the Lancaster Canal walk and to Cristina Buendia who has been with us since the scholarship's inception.
It's been incredible to see our community grow with each challenge. What started as one person running has expanded to a team of six for the canal walk, and now we're an even larger group taking on the Three Peaks!

Thank you for considering a donation to support the next generation of Computer Science talent. We look forward to sharing our training journey, the challenge itself, and most importantly, stories of the students whose lives you're helping to transform!
