Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to look at this go fund me page. I am setting this up for my son, Connor. He is a sweet and loving 21 month old boy with an epilepsy disorder diagnosis. He has CAE which is child absence epilepsy. We have been seeing a local neurologist to try and get his disorder under control and help him to thrive in other areas by doing so. Since birth we have struggled with some different issues including pneumonia, choking on his own phlegm and going unconscious, sleep apnea, enlarged adenoids, and his epilepsy. With all these other issues combined with the epilepsy he has not been able to thrive as quickly as other children do. He has a very limited vocabulary as well as other learning growth areas to do with communication. We have tried two different medications for his epilepsy neither of which have had much of an impact on his episodes. He has hundreds of seizures throughout the day. This causing him to fall and hurt himself and have these issues with progressing in speech and other similar areas. We are receiving a referral to travel to Boston children’s hospital to hopefully get better care for him. I am posting this to ask for help with expenses to do with travel to and from Boston from where we live in New York. If you can not donate please do not feel inclined to do so as I don’t want anyone to stuggle just to help us. Every dollar raised will go to his health and recovery. We are praying for a miracle that Boston can finally give us answers and some relief from all the stress and discomfort he has been going through thus far. The point of all this is to see him thrive as the wonderful boy I know he can become with our help!
