Hi, I’m Glenn Holcomb from Mighty Manatee IT. We handle all things related to business technology. Recently, The Neighborhood Center of South Lake contacted me for assistance, and when I called them back, I got a busy signal.
A busy signal? Who gets a busy signal in today’s world? What if I called because I needed food? What if I were a person/business wanting to donate food? Would I continue to call back until I got through, and how long would that take? Years ago, a busy signal was acceptable. It’s not today. The Neighborhood Center misses out on fulfilling its mission every time someone calls and can’t get through. That needs to change.
Mighty Manatee IT has reached out to our VoIP partner, OIT VOIP, and they have generously agreed to donate phone service for The Neighborhood Center while we will donate the time/cost of installation. But they’ll still need handsets, and that’s where you come in.
By joining this fundraiser, you ensure that eight new phones are installed to support a phone system guaranteed to answer every call. Remember, a call answered offers a chance to bring food to those who need it and an opportunity for a better life. Join the call!
