Give Africa a Voice at WEF 2026!

Hi! We are Maphrida Wehrli and Dorris Temko Kirui. After meeting again at WEF 2025 having not seen each other for a decade since university, we saw a problem: Africa has many great founders, investors, and ideas — but too often, they are not part of global discussions and they are fragmented.

We created Pachedu to change this. Our platform connects African founders, investors, and partners so ideas meet funding, partnerships form, and Africa grows.

WHAT ARE WE CROWDFUNDING FOR?

Pachedu is a platform that aims to unite the global ecosystem advancing impactful investments and business in Africa, matching people, ideas, opportunities, and resources that should have already found each other.

We are raising CHF 30,000 to host:

“Connecting Continents: Unlocking Africa’s Growth Together”

WEF 2026, Davos, Switzerland

This 2.5-hour event will bring together African founders, global investors, and policymakers. The goal is to turn ideas into action, connect founders with funding, and build partnerships that help Africa grow.

Event venue: Mountain Plaza Hotel in Davos, Switzerland

WHY YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS

Why Your Support Matters

Your donation will:

• Fund venue costs

• Contribute to panels and talks with experienced speakers

• Host a networking session to connect founders and investors

• Support the event livestream for people around the world

• Help with professional production and post-event materials

CHF30,000 activates the event. Everything we raise beyond that proportionately enables us to expand the scope and agenda, and secure prominent speakers, as well as support the foundations of Pachedu

All contributions will be met with immense gratitude, and recognition at the event. Even CHF 10 can help a founder get noticed by global investors. Your support gives Africa’s innovators a platform to be seen and heard.
