Connect Charity Challenge- Reach Out With Kindness

In light of the Covid-19 blues going around, Connect Communities has put out a challenge that is going to shift the focus from themselves to others who are experiencing difficult circumstances.
In response, residents at Connect Communities South House - based in Langley, BC - decided to organize this fundraiser to support a single mother who has one or more children. They realize that these uncertain times are hard on people emotionally, physically, as well as financially and especially single mothers. They heard about the unexpected passing of 35-year-old Agnes, a single mother with 3 children. Her sister Elizabeth, who already had her own children, immediately took them in to become part of her family. To compound an already tragic and financially-difficult situation, five out of six children have recently tested positive for Covid-19 and, due to the necessity to isolate, Elizabeth will be unable to work for the next few weeks.
All funds raised through this campaign will go directly to Elizabeth Salase and her beautiful family.
