Congratulations JIKJN King

This year’s WKSA Tournament in Galveston will be a great time to make friends, compete and cheer on our favorite martial artists. In Addition, this year we have the privilege to attend the official promotion of JIKJN King! The promotion to sixth degree blackbelt is an amazing accomplishment and the culmination of decades of training. Being there as a school to show our support is going to make the event even more memorable. In previous years we have marked promotions and milestones with monetary donations. These gifts have gone towards upgrading the banner to our amazingly visible school sign, and the addition of our water bottle refill station. The last few years have been tough in so many ways. JIKJN King not only made sure our Oak Hill family always had a safe place to train, but frequently worried over how we were all coping with everything life was throwing our way. We hear students and parents commenting that our school feels like a family, because it truly is one. This is mostly due to the environment that JIKJN King has fostered. Our dojang is witness to blood, sweat and tears, but one of the down sides to all of that is the CARPET…. we have all noticed it has seen better days. Years of training hard enough to grab some flags has taken a toll. This year’s promotion gift to JIKJN King will be the carpet fund. It would be amazing to fully fund the replacement of the carpet and take one thing off JIKJN’s plate as a huge thank you for all he gives to us. Let’s get this done Team Oak Hill!!!
