Hi all! Due to the recent circumstances regarding Covid-19, the WRT Confirmation class of 5780 is unable to have our car wash and bake sale fundraisers. However, we are still working hard to raise money and awareness virtually for our amazing organizations. The Corona Virus pandemic has had devastating effects on the state of New York, leaving many in need of food. Especially in Westchester, there has been a continuous need for meals. Feeding Westchester is an amazing organization whose mission is to end hunger in Westchester County. They distribute food and other resources to many communities, helping to ensure that none of our neighbors are hungry. Additionally, our second organization is the Don Bosco Community Center in Portchester. They provide additional educational resources for children as well as host soup kitchens for those in need. We strongly believe in both of these organizations because of their community-driven platforms and their mission to make an impact in Westchester. As our memorable year of Confirmation has been impacted by the current environment, we encourage everyone to please donate to these meaningful charities and support the Confirmation class of 5780! All donations go straight to these organizations upon completion of the fundraiser.
