Conejo Oaks - Let's Beautify Our New Sign!

UPDATE!: Now that our new sign is installed, it's time to beautify! Thank you for your generous donations. My next goal is to spruce up the sign area with greenery and florals. I've received quotes from two different landscapers who service many homes in Conejo Oaks. Total cost for a full irrigation system, plants, and labor/installation is $5,500. We already have $1,720 from our original signage campaign, so we only need another $3,800 to reach our new goal!

ORIGINAL POST: Hi neighbors! I absolutely love our neighborhood. As a local realtor, I'm very passionate about our community--it always bothered me that the Conejo Oaks sign does not truly demonstrate the beauty of where we live. Several months ago, I took it upon myself to meet with the homeowners where the sign is displayed (Hillcrest Dr./Encino Vista) and get their permission to apply for a new sign that would be fitting for our beautiful neighborhood. With this approval, I went to the City of Thousand Oaks to apply for a city permit. We were officially approved today!! Woohoo! Lastly, I met with a local sign company and here is the proposed new signage, along with the corresponding invoice. I'm jump-starting this GoFundMe page with my own donation of $1,000.00 and am hopeful that others will help get us to the full amount of $4,500.00 (only $3,500.00 left to go).

The sign itself is $4,000.00, and then there is a separate landscaping charge of $500.00, which brings the grand total to the $4500.00

All donations big and small are greatly appreciated and I cannot wait to have the unveiling of the new sign for all of us to share. Thank you so much in advance for your anticipated participation, and for making Conejo Oaks my favorite neighborhood in Conejo Valley. Looking forward to meeting more of you at the sign unveiling, which I expect will be sometime in April. I will keep everyone posted on the exact date as we get closer! SO excited!
