Concrete for Christie Pits Beginner Quarter Pipe

Hello all, we used 54 bags of concrete and 2.5 bags of mortar for this project. Cinderblocks and metal were sourced from the community and CBMK/KILLROOM. We had $200 from the fundraisers last year but we still need $287 to cover the cost of this ramp. We built it for beginners to learn on so our community can continue to grow. It's very fitting that the coping came from CBMK, where most of the best local skaters learned. It is an honour to keep this piece of local skate history in the community. Also thanks for councillor Diane Saxe for expressing interest in working with community to build permanent obstacles and to Toronto Parks and Rec for asking us or designs.
