Hello, my name is Pura Negrete, and today I humbly and hopefully reach out to ask for help.

In July 2025, I was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer, an aggressive form of cancer that completely changed my life. Since that moment, I began a difficult journey that has included chemotherapy, ongoing treatments, and recently a mastectomy.

Because of the illness, my work became irregular, reducing my income by more than 60%. After the surgery, I currently have no income, and I still have another surgery pending, along with expenses for medication, transportation, post-operative care, and everyday basic needs. Even though I am receiving medical support, there are always expenses that must be covered.

This situation has been extremely hard not only physically and emotionally, but financially as well. That is why I am turning to this platform today, with my heart in my hands, asking for support so I can continue my treatment and recovery with a little more peace of mind.

Hola, mi nombre es Pura Negrete y hoy me atrevo a pedir ayuda con humildad y esperanza.

En julio de 2025 fui diagnosticada con cáncer de seno triple negativo, un tipo de cáncer agresivo que cambió mi vida por completo. Desde ese momento inicié un camino difícil que ha incluido quimioterapias, tratamientos constantes y recientemente una mastectomía.

A causa de la enfermedad, mi trabajo dejó de ser regular, lo que redujo mis ingresos en más del 60%. Actualmente, después de la cirugía, no tengo ingresos, y aún me queda una cirugía pendiente, además de gastos en medicamentos, transporte, cuidados postoperatorios y necesidades básicas del día a día. Pese a estar recibiendo ayuda médica siempre hay gastos que realizar.

Esta situación ha sido muy dura no solo física y emocionalmente, sino también económicamente. Por eso hoy recurro a esta plataforma, con el corazón en la mano, para pedir apoyo y poder continuar con mi tratamiento y recuperación con un poco más de tranquilidad.
