Hola, mi nombre es Javiera Villa, Hoy 16 de febrero escribo con el corazón destrozado y con mucha desesperación, porque hace apenas unas horas nuestra vida cambió por completo.

Mi pareja, Alfredo Tilihuit, salió a cortarse el cabello como cualquier otro día a la kearny ave, nj. sin imaginar lo que iba a suceder. En ese lugar llegó migración. Él, lleno de miedo, no quería abrir, pero aun así rompieron los vidrios para llevárselo. En medio de la desesperación me llamó pidiéndome ayuda, sin saber qué iba a pasar. Fue un momento muy doloroso que todavía estamos tratando de entender.

Hace solo unas horas al rededor de las 9:30AM fue detenido por ice, dejándonos separados de un momento a otro. Tenemos una bebé de apenas 9 meses que ahora está lejos de su papá, y esta situación nos ha afectado profundamente tanto emocional como económicamente. Mi esposo siempre ha sido un hombre trabajador, responsable y dedicado a su familia. Su único deseo era darnos un mejor futuro.

En este momento necesito ayuda urgente para poder cubrir gastos básicos como renta, comida, y para poder comprar su pasaje devuelta a su país por qué los dejan tirados en la frontera, y todo lo necesario para cuidar a nuestra hija mientras atravesamos esta situación tan difícil.

Cualquier donación, por pequeña que sea, significa muchísimo para nosotros.

Hello, my name is Javiera Villa. Today, February 16, I am writing with a broken heart and great desperation, because just a few hours ago our lives changed completely.

My partner, Alfredo Tilihuit, went to get a haircut like any other day on Kearny Ave, NJ, without imagining what was about to happen. Immigration officers arrived at that place. He, full of fear, did not want to open the door, but they still broke the windows to take him away. In the middle of the desperation, he called me asking for help, without knowing what would happen. It was a very painful moment that we are still trying to understand.

Just a few hours ago, around 9:30 AM, Ice detained him, leaving us separated from one moment to the next. We have a baby who is only 9 months old and is now far from her father, and this situation has deeply affected us both emotionally and financially. My husband has always been a hardworking, responsible man dedicated to his family. His only wish was to give us a better future.

At this moment, I urgently need help to cover basic expenses such as rent, food, and to be able to buy his ticket back to his country, because they leave them abandoned at the border, as well as everything necessary to care for our daughter while we go through this very difficult situation.
