Composition Coffee House

Dear Friends

As many of you already know, Composition Coffee House has been a dream of
mine for many years. I opened up shop after 6 years of preparation in April of
2019.  We were in business for one year before Covid-19 hit which brought about many new  challenges and changes to the shop. Our business was forced to shut
down and reassess how to move forward.
Many plans have changed and what moving forward looked like 6 months ago has taken a very different (but incredible) turn with the opening of a permanent brick and mortar coffee shop in West Palm Beach.

I've started this gofundme as we are in the last month and a half of preparations
to open the shop and have hit a few roadblocks with unforeseen and over budget
expenses that have put a tremendous strain on our financial ability to open.

What's Been Happening:

For 7 months following Covid-19 I was forced to give myself a salary from the
business while it was shut down and not being able to find work or generate
revenue from the shop. We were also denied government assistance.
All of this caused tremendous strain on our little start up and made a challenging
situation seem impossible if it weren't for the grace God has had on this venture.

We have had a lot of unforeseen expenses and are now starting this gofundme to
humbly ask if you would think about helping us achieve our goal of creating a
welcoming and beautiful meeting place for our community in West Palm Beach.
The dream for Composition Coffee has been always to love all people well, create a warm and unique space and serve people a product that is representative of the
tedious effort and care that was taken to bring  high quality coffee and tea into
our shop.

What Your Donation Will Do:

Your donation will go towards operating expenses for the first few months of the shop. This will include paying employees, keeping the doors open and lights on, 
and giving us an overall fighting chance to succeed after such crazy extenuating
circumstances. 

I have been so grateful for all the people who have already helped in making
Composition Coffee House all that it became in the first year. This truly has been a beautiful collective effort that no one person can take credit for. I couldn't have done it without the tremendous generosity of friends and family and I am so
grateful if you've even read this far to consider helping in any way big or small. 

Another way to help:

Another roadblock was the banning of my personal and business account from
Facebook after a hacker accessed the account and put out a fake ad. If you would
also consider sharing this with your friends and family on social media I would be extremely grateful!
