Completing Steve LaCrosse's Vision

Steve LaCrosse was a dedicated lacrosse enthusiast, particularly when it came to the youth of Canandaigua. We are building a multi-sport training wall to honor Steve's vision of bringing lacrosse and other sports to as many Canandaigua youth as possible. It will be located at Canandaigua Academy's growing outdoor athletic complex; the long, tall concrete wall can be used to develop individual lacrosse, soccer, and other sports skills and will be available to players of all ages.

An ardent coach, official, player, and parent, Steve left behind many friends, and this wall will help to perpetuate the memory of Steve and his vision.

Our goal is to raise $65,000 and begin construction in summer 2023. A portion of the funds has already been raised. We know that Steve's friends would want to help make this a reality.

Donations made here will go to a general fund and be deposited to the Friends of Canandaigua Lacrosse fund, which will be the operating account for construction.
