Compassionate Wildlife Solutions 2022

Hello and welcome to the 6th year of Local Tarzan's Compassionate Wildlife Solutions. My name is Chase Cavalera aka The Local Tarzan. I am here to introduce myself so it may be known that there IS someone in McLean County who cares about our wildlife and can help out with humane and compassionate solutions to related issues. I have a background in veterinary medicine, wildlife, and private investigation. These skills have pointed me in the direction of my true calling..that is, answering the call of the wild yet voiceless. Even my history in construction and landscaping comes in handy for creating a harmonious balance between the animals and humankind. I operate in coordination with the Dept of Natural Resources and local Law Enforcement. All actions taken are not only designed to create quality of life for the greater good, but also in strict accordance with the law. I am the investigator, the negotiator, the ambulance, triage and of course rescue squad all in one!...not to mention, an educator. That being said, I am an independent entity, and an unfunded resource. Most of my job description brings me to places like roadways, parks and public areas, some more dangerous than others. These efforts are out of pocket and take time away from my career and family. Monetary donations/contributions are always welcome and frankly the lifeblood of this mission. Proper safety equipment, tactical gear, medical supplies, my own vaccinations and permits and even fuel and auto repairs can become quite costly.
