Compassion for Lori and Quinn's Final Farewell

Donation protected
Hello!
This fundraiser is for my fur son Quinn Preston MacKay’s cremation. I adopted him when he was just 11 weeks old back in November of 2012 until his passing of May 2025. In August of this year he would have turned 13. He was a pure breed Ragdoll. His father was a show cat. Both of his parents were amazingly beautiful though Quinn looked more like his mother. He was the only male in the litter. This was my first ever cat. I talked about him and showed pictures of him of a proud new mom! I gave him everything as well as my whole heart and to this day I still do. I always loved him head butting me and many of his quirky qualities. He definitely had a lot of fur, did I say fur? It was always everywhere such as floors, carpet, clothes, bedding and always up my nose. He always in or on top of something such as being in a small refrigerator that was de-icing or going into a laundry basket or when my grandma use to stay with me for a few days and she’d take her clothes out of the suitcase and sure enough there he was sitting in it. He loved chewing charging cords and I went through a lot. The last few months he was putting his teeth through my shower curtain liner. I have so so many memories of him which I will always cherish but I’d rather have him here with me. At least he was greeted by my grandma, mom and dad. That gives me much comfort. God Bless you Quinn and thank you for giving me the opportunity to be your fur mommy. I Love You and I Miss You terribly, until we meet again son.

The other part of this fundraiser is for myself to help pay for movers. I have to move out of my parent’s house. The money I make on disability is clearly not enough to pay for everything. Veteran Services here in Ocala, Florida is trying to help me find a place to live. This program helps me pay part of my rent while I pay the rest. I will be paying the utilities as well. They have vouchers for certain apartments for homeless veterans or who will be becoming homeless but my situation is a bit different. I have a man named Jonathan who is effortlessly reaching out for help for me. I have been greatly stressed and down about all of this, though he reminded me that he will definitely find a place for me, don’t get discouraged. This apartment won’t be in Marion County but up near Gainesville up in Alachua County, this is where I need help paying for movers.

I hate asking for Quinn and I but believe me just how much I and Quinn would greatly appreciate this. I am truly appreciative for anything that anybody does for me and for outside of Facebook.

Thank you for taking the time to read this

Sincerely,
Lori MacKay and my late fur son Quinn Preston MacKay
