Help Support the Opening of Compass Rose Recovery:
A Sober Transitional Living Facility for Women in Northwest Arkansas
Hello, my name is Alissa, and I am in recovery myself. I understand the struggles that come with alcoholism, addiction, trauma, and abuse, and I am dedicated to helping others navigate these challenges. I’ve gone back to school to earn my certification in alcohol and drug counseling, and I am currently working as a group and individual therapist, giving back to those in need of support.
In Northwest Arkansas, there is a severe shortage of recovery and transitional living options for women. Combined with the addiction epidemic in the area, this creates insurmountable barriers for women trying to heal from trauma and maintain long-term recovery. Many women fall through the cracks due to a lack of safe, supportive environments essential for their growth and healing.
As a certified SMART Recovery facilitator, I’ve witnessed firsthand the importance of having a secure, substance-free space to transition into for lasting recovery and healing. Without this support, many women are forced to return to harmful patterns and living situations that impede their progress.
Compass Rose Recovery will provide transitional living for women rebuilding their lives from trauma, abuse, addiction, and alcoholism. It will offer a safe place for women to live while they get back on their feet and build a solid foundation. Compass Rose will provide professional and peer support, structure, and advocacy. Additionally, we will assist with transportation and access to resources to help women begin their journey toward a better future.
My goal is to open Compass Rose Recovery, a sober, transitional living facility where women can "find their true north." This facility will offer the support and guidance necessary for women to reclaim their lives and become better mothers, daughters, sisters, employees, and friends. Every woman deserves the opportunity to rebuild her life, and I want to be part of providing that foundation.
Your generous donations will go directly toward securing the facility, completing renovations, and providing the resources needed for the women who will call Compass Rose home. I’m passionate about creating a space where women can heal, grow, and thrive, and your support will help make that possible.
Thank you for being part of this life-changing mission. Together, we can help women overcome the barriers to recovery and find their true north.
Sincerely,
Alissa
