In Kandara, Kenya, many children and young people grow up with dreams but without the tools to reach them.

Access to books, computers, the internet, and safe learning spaces is extremely limited. For many young people, there are no libraries to walk into, no computers to learn from, and no quiet, supportive environment where curiosity is encouraged and potential is nurtured. Instead, they face daily challenges: poverty, unemployment, idleness, negative influences, and the growing risk of substance abuse. These barriers do not reflect a lack of talent or ambition, only a lack of opportunity.

We believe every young person deserves a chance to learn, grow, and thrive.

What This Community Learning Hub Will Offer

This space will not just be a building, it will be a lifeline.

Why This Matters:

When young people have nothing to do and nowhere to go, their potential is at risk of being lost. But when they are supported, mentored, and given access to education and technology, they become leaders, innovators, and change-makers.

This hub aims to address social exclusion and negative influences by supporting the wellbeing and personal development of young people, equipping them with the skills needed for education and employment, and empowering a new generation to uplift the wider community while breaking cycles of poverty through education.
