Community whippet house

Hi many of you will know me as Rob the whippet whisperer ( instagram ) or locally as the whippet man . I also do a calendar each year supporting JR whippet rescue. I need your help the house best door is being bought by a " christian" group who base themselves of the American model of praise the lord and hand over your cash they are trying to set up a half way house for ex offenders and drug addicts in the house adjoining mine we are fighting it as a community we have no qualms with helping people who need help bimut in the right property in the right location this property is too small offers no privacy for new residents snd existing residents alike. They are cramming them in 8 to 12 residents and a sleep in volunteer room the stated minimum if 6 .5 m2 and some are 2 per room . It's right next to a school and many elderly residents and young families live close by and right next to the entrance to a country park where residents like to relax and feel safe. I'm also worried from a selfish point of view that if it happens they might complain about my whippets barking and howling Ruairi still howls if unauthorised ( by Ruairi) leave. He is alright when I go to work he understand I have to bring home the cash to feed him the current neighbours are understanding. This development will leave 5 hard working neighbours homeless they currently rent rooms next door . Two of them are autistic and one has been taken under the wing of the community he's vulnerable and has two jobs to pay his way the other is a lady who works shirts in care we are currently trying as a community to buy the house to keep it running as it is initially . We have come up with the idea of shares at £5000 each to get a deposit together to buy it on an interest only mortgage. I'm currently a few shares off making this happen everyone's money will be safe and returned eventually once the property is eventually sold to the right person .we will keep things as they are for two years. If I can raise a share through the whippet community that shar will be ring fenced for whippet rescue and once the house is sold the money will be donated to a whippet charity I usually do ate to JR whippet rescue. I guess the whippet element is my house is my whippets home and I don't want any thing to threaten that. I wouldn't ask if I wasn't desperate I've never done a go fund me before . I have managed to raise quite a few shares within the community and I'm willing to put my life's savings into this but I'm still short of the target to put the deposit down the seller has eccepted our offer in principal and would prefer to sell to the community I just need to get it over the line x
