Community Support for Violet and Dylan

Donation protected
Violet's and Dylan's mom, Regina, passed away on February 2, 2025 after a grueling, four-year battle with breast cancer. Regina was a single parent and worked very hard to provide for her kids in all ways, including love, fun, and daily necessities. It is hard to believe she is gone, but as a wise person has said, "Move ahead we must."

Regina's brother Allyn and his wife Betty have agreed to become Dylan's guardians. Violet is living with a friend and his parents and siblings. She plans to graduate high school in June.

Regina always said that people would burn out from helping her, but that never happened. In a way, the first GoFundMe allowed people to go with her on her journey, as she chronicled updates and was great for letting people know of other ways they could help her little family sustain itself.

Regina's friends assured her that her kids would always be taken care of, and we meant it. Therefore, the remainder of the donations from Regina's GoFundMe will be split between Violet and Dylan.

It is apparent, though, that more will be needed from Regina’s amazing community of givers, the people she reached with her help and love. They reciprocated in so many ways to help her and her children during the past four years. Now we are setting up a new GoFundMe to continue to help her family, to pay it forward as her children grow up.

Any amount would be of great help as her family adapts to her loss and the expense of a child in middle school and a young adult exploring future college and career opportunities.
