Hello everyone! Back in mid-May, there was an event called Proving Grounds. The owner of this event promised 1st place takes $1000 and 2nd place takes $500. Unfortunately, the owner of the event walked out and never returned, leaving the first place winners, the second place winners, as well as the staff completely unpaid by this individual.

I am reaching out to the entirety of the community to see if we can come together and raise the prize money that was promised to the winners of this event. Normally, we wouldn't do something like this, and legal action is being considered. Yet, the legal route takes a while. If I could do anything, I would like to raise the money to make sure those individuals get the money that they are owed.

So, Carolinas and surrounding areas, please, I ask that you help me right this wrong. It is my hope that we can come together as a community, dancer or not, and make this happen. Thank you again for your time.
