To all Fellow Brothers who are interested in donating to Young Emily Burt. A brief summary of her situation is Emily was involved in a head on collision leading to 6 surgeries in the hospital within the first week. She suffered life threatening injuries including, moderate damage to her brain, a laceration on her Aorta, Pneumothorax, injuries to her face resulting in reconstructive surgery, a broken back, 7 broken ribs, a broken humorous bone, broken bones in her right foot, bruising to her colon, spleen, and kidneys. Right after getting to the hospital Emily was intubated, then it was removed in the middle of her first week. A Tracheostomy was done to prevent breathing obstruction from swelling due to facial surgery. Emily will be in pain for a long time with a lengthy recovery process and her aunt will have to reconstruct her basement into an apartment due to Emily's recovery.
