Hello everyone! Anne here David's daughter. As most of you know my father had a tragic snowmobile accident. It was a senseless accident. David did what he wanted to do on his terms and his way. He had gotten sick back in July of 2021 and that was the start to it all. Numberless amounts of doctors visits, trips to the hospital and numerous surgery followed throughout the years. It was a struggle some days and other's weren't but we are thankful for the days we had.

Dad was born in Blue hill ( he always said "mother was shingling the roof and had me there" ) and has live here in Lamoine ever since. He was a very active member in the community his whole life. Dad started as a woodsman for the first half of his working career. Then lobstering started in 95. He loved being on the ocean. Dad loved selling lobsters to anyone that wanted to buy them. Especially when meeting new locals or the vacationers from all over the world. His favorites were always the returning ones year and after year. He loved talking about general stuff but he had way more stories to tell instead. Dad was a very giving person and was willing help anyone if he could. I know he touched the hearts of many with his simple smile, gruff voice with that downeast accent, those big ol bear paws with a body to match. You'll never be forgotten because there will be a story to follow ❤️ with that being said I'm setting this up for my mother to have some sort of financial relief as she navigates through this griving process.
