Hi, my name is Bò. I’m an intersex dyke living in the Pacific Northwest. I’m also a disabled, recently unemployed, transgender adult living with bipolar disorder. Right now, I’m in a difficult and confusing time: I haven’t had access to the medications that keep me stable, and the withdrawal effects are intense, painful, and disruptive to every part of my life.

I’m currently trying to arrange job interviews while coping with the loss of my insurance and reliable transportation. The side effects of withdrawal make it almost impossible to function—I’m sleeping most of the time, disoriented when awake, and generally feeling zombie-like.

I’m reaching out to my community for any financial support while I navigate this crisis. Donations will go directly toward accessing my prescriptions, covering transportation costs, and supporting my basic needs during this unstable period.
