We are currently looking for support to purchase a 20 foot high tree and provide children's gifts at the Carol singing event (provisionally either 15 or 22 December) at the Christmas tree outside the Clovenfords Hotel.

With the tree as a gathering point, the carol event is a great opportunity to get together as a community, meet one another socially and celebrate the season of goodwill to all!

To date we have donations from very generous residents that will provide enough funds for the lights to be erected and commissioned.

We are seeking funds to buy the tree itself and small token gifts that can be distributed on the night by Santa.

All donations will be gratefully welcomed and any excess will be ring-fenced within the Community Council account for use at Christmas next year.
