Community Outdoor Rink in Honor of Alain(Ti-Bert)

We lost a beautiful soul on March 26th, 2022. Alain Larocque, also known as Ti-Bert or Al, has touched so many of us. He was an exceptional father, spouse, wonderful uncle, brother-in-law, fantastic friend, and a hard-working individual. For many of us, life will never be the same without him.

Ti-Bert was my best friend since childhood and was always willing to help. He had the best fishing and hunting stories and had a unique way of sharing them with many. But his biggest pride and joy were his family. He would light up telling stories of Emmi and Derek.

His smile was contagious and I can still hear his laugh. Hockey played an important role in Alain's life. He was Derek's biggest fan and never missed a game. He also coached many of our kids. He had such a great connection with so many people. To honor his life and the impact he had on the whole community, we want to raise funds to build an outdoor rink in Alexandria in his name, where kids will be able to gather and play. We will work closely with the Township of North Glengarry to determine where to build this rink of dreams.

Alain would be so proud!
