Community of Nonpariel ECD, Guyana

The Caribbean Hindu Diasporas Foundation, based out of New York is working in Guyana to help communities gain access to basic needs such as food, clothing and shelter. With high levels of poverty affecting 40% of the population, many individuals struggle to find access to their next meal. It is our goal to help minimize the food crisis by launching the first of many food drives held by this Organization. This community food drive is being coordinated through the Sevak Satsang Mandir.
