Community of Mckinney Creek Fire

My name is Andrea Tweed, daughter of Steve and Cecilia Tweed (who lost everything in the McKinney fire). Within 1 hour the community of McKinney Creek was overtaken by this unstoppable fire. Everything has been destroyed, displacing many people. These kind-hearted people have lost EVERYTHING. This money will be given to the people who need it most via cash and/or check depending on the need and amount. Anything helps, all proceeds will provide sanitary items, toiletries, food, and shelter.

"The Tweed's High Meadow Ranch & Friends

We are the family and friends of Steve and Cecilia Tweed. We are fundraising for them, and their close-knit Klamath River community, who lost everything in the Northern California McKinney Fire. The devasting McKinney fire started on Friday, July 29th, and quickly exploded, necessitating the evacuation of families with very little time to grab their belongings.

Steve and Ces have spent the last 20 years building a beautiful sanctuary in the mountains, a place that brings them peace and joy, and where family and friends alike love to visit and spend time off the grid. Over the years, they have hosted their 25th-anniversary celebration, dinner parties, family gatherings, a wedding, a celebration of life, and many visits from family and friends with innumerable memories. The loss of their newly expanded home, art studio, garden, and garage, among other things, is devasting and heartbreaking. They love and serve their community with passion, kindness, and generosity, and our goal is to support them and their friends the best we can.
