This weekend was one to remember — an incredible community event filled with music, dancing, and connection. We hosted an amazing foundation close to my heart, and the night featured an unforgettable live performance.
Sadly, when the music was at its highest point of joy, a few individuals entered my office closet (where I keep all my gear) and stole my backpack. Inside were my laptop, iPad, years of hard drives, and personal journals that can never be replaced.
It’s hard for me to ask for help, especially when I already feel like I ask a lot by running Dear Tomorrow. But this computer and iPad do much of the back-end work that keeps this place running, and it being a grassroots space means there isn’t a hidden stash of emergency funds for moments like this.
If you’re able, please consider donating to help replace this essential equipment so we can continue serving artists, storytellers, and our community. Every contribution — big or small — helps, and your support means more than I can put into words.
