Hi

my name is Jan and I’m a volunteer at a small foodbank based in Watford Hertfordshire . We operate a weekly foodbank on Mondays for our community .

The need is growing and last week we supported 110 service users who collected food items for their families in the first 90 minutes of opening and numbers are increasing rapidly .

This week we also launched our monthly lunch hub at our base in St James Baptist church hall .We served a free two course hot meal to members of the community in a safe warm environment , which was well supported and received by the diners .

Both the above projects are funded by either money donations or donations of tinned or dry goods which we need to continue to generate in order to keep our food bank and lunch hub open and running
